Despite having a hectic schedule dedicated in providing aid to those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, Vice President Leni Robredo still finds time to de-stress by watching Korean dramas (K-dramas).
On January 28, VP Leni took to Facebook to dish out the K-dramas that distracted her from her “already toxic world”.
According to her, she watched iconic ones such as “The World of the Married” and “SkyCastle” but failed to enjoy it due to the characters.
“I want light and fun storylines to balance my already toxic world. I watched the more popular ones like World of the Married, SkyCastle but did not enjoy them. Ang sasama kasi ng mga tao ,” she admitted.
Meanwhile, she also finds pleasure in watching love stories such as “Descendants of the Sun”, “Crash Landing on You “, and “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim”.
“Sa mga mas malalim at mas seryoso, nagustuhan ko yung It’s Okay Not To Be Okay, My Mister, Mr Sunshine. Pero hindi ko na uulitin at ayoko nang ma stress ,” she wrote.
She currently watches “Kairos” in portions.
Meanwhile, the Human Rights lawyer also divulged the Tagalog movies that she enjoyed the most.
Among her most watched are “That Thing Called Tadhana”, “One More Chance”, “Four Sisters and a Wedding”, “She’s The One”, and “Bride for Rent”.
“Marami pang ibang maganda pero itong limang ito yata ang maraming beses ko na napanood ”
Before the pandemic, VP Leni would usually watch Netflix during her travels. Right now, due to her regular relief operations, she rarely manages to indulge herself with the trending movies and TV series.
