Senator Villar is an advocate for agriculture and livelihood. She has been promoting urban farming in her hometown, Las Pinas, since 2011 as part of the city’s annual Food Festival Competition. She also has been organizing programs that teach urban farming through the Villar SIPAG foundation.

The Senator grows various herbs and spices in the city. He also grows a variety of vegetables in their organic farm in Tagaytay City.

The Presidential Spokesperson regularly shares on Instagram his harvests from his family farm in Zambales. He usually goes there when he takes a break from duty.
6. Jinkee Pacquiao
Jinkee, a businesswoman, has been fond of plants even before being a “plantita”. Every corner of her house is adorned by plants in different sizes and colors.

This Fil-Am beauty guru started collecting plants to commemorate his late father who loved plants. But during the pandemic he found himself continuously adding plants to his collection.
8. Solenn Heusaff
This multi-talented artist said she keeps plants to help purify the air from toxins. She emphasized that it’s good to have good quality indoor air since we are always at home during the pandemic.
9. Gretchen Fullido
TV personality Gretchen shares that indoor gardening has helped her mental well-being. She said taking care of her plants helps her focus and be mindful of little things.
