“I am so happy and overwhelmed by the response of my kababayans on this program as we ensure to get as many people as possible to get vaccinated,” exclaimed Deputy Speaker and Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar who initiated the launch of “May Bahay sa Bakuna,” which will escalate availment of vaccine in Las Piñas City.
The Las Piñas Representative who donated non monetary incentives noticed the increase on vaccination registration when the program was announced.
As of today, Las Pinas LGU is continuously giving grocery items every month to residents who have been fully inoculated, while others who had at least one jab will get a chance to win a house-and-lot estimated to be worth P1.5 million and two brand new motorcycles.
Villar said that they are actively promoting the vaccination program to protect the public from the virus and also to prevent a surge in cases brought about by low vaccine output.
Currently, Las Piñas is ranked second among 17 LGUs in Metro Manila with a vaccine utilization rate of 95.74% or a total of 313,045 vaccinated. Of this number, 100,535 were fully vaccinated while 212,510 were first dose.
