“Rain and flooding will not stop us dahil hindi din nagpapahinga si COVID-19,” The Mayor of Manila “Isko Moreno” Domagoso stated that the typhoon “Fabian” will not stop their ongoing vaccination operations.

Areas in the City of Manila were then flooded due to Typhoon Fabian. Residents are seen lined up in flooded areas at the Vaccination sites to get their first dose of AstraZeneca Vaccine.

On Wednesday, the city government of Manila deployed over 2,000 doses for the vaccination of the Priority Groups.
As seen during the live stream video of the official Facebook page of Domagoso, The Manila Mayor is seen arriving at the San Andres gym to supervise and check the situation of his beloved residents.

The Mayor on his page also gave his appreciation to the medical frontliners of Manila Health Department and Six LGU hospitals of Manila who managed the operation during a rainy day, stating in his post “Maraming salamat din po sa ating barangay officials at sa mga kawani ng Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office sa pagpapanatili naman ng kaayusan sa ating vaccination sites. Your City Government appreciates all your efforts! Sama-sama tayo tungo sa tuluyang pagsugpo sa pandemyang ito.” Domagoso ended.
