MANILA – It will be cloudy with some rains in parts of the country on Saturday, with the shear line affecting the eastern section of Mindanao and the northeast monsoon or “amihan” affecting the rest of the country.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecast cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in the Northern Mindanao, Caraga, Soccsksargen, Davao, and Bangsamoro regions, brought by the shear line.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will likewise get partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains brought by the “amihan”.

Winds in the eastern section of the Visayas and Mindanao will be moderate to strong, headed northeast to north, with moderate to rough coastal waters.
