Partido Reporma standard-bearer Panfilo Lacson urged voters to consider him as the leader who is competent, qualified, and with a wealth of experience in the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) Presidential Forum held today, three months before the national election.

“Ito ang panata sa bayan: towards the end of my term as President, there should be no doubt in the mind of every Filipino that we are better off than when we started; that our people trust their government much better than ever before,” stated Lacson during his closing remarks.

Lason promised that if elected president, he will refrain his authority upon the Bank Secrecy Act immediately on his first day in the office, encouraging all government employees and officials to be transparent.

Partido Reporma presidential candidate reiterated that checks and balances in the government are already established but assured the public to demolish padrino system.

“Naging kultura na ang kultura ng palakasan. ‘Yan ang ating ihihinto. Kaya nga kailangan isa lang ang standard na susundin at magagawa mo lang ‘yun kung ikaw ay may leadership by example,” the presidential aspirant pointed out.

The presidential forum aired with more than 300 TV and radio stations in the country hosted by ANC anchor Karen Davila and Rico Hizon of CNN Philippines. Lacson is along with other candidates, Vice President Leni Robredo, Senator Manny Pacquiao, Mayor Isko Moreno, and labor leader Leody De Guzman. However, Former Senator Bongbong Marcos skipped the forum due to a conflict of schedule.
