Presidential Aspirant Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos and Vice Presidential candidate Sara Duterte-Carpio is the top choice of the Filipinos for the government posts this coming 2022 elections, based on the recent survey of Pulse Asia.
Marcos sustained his lead with 60%, gaining a seven percent advantage on his last standing during December 2021 survey. The survey was released yesterday, February 13, and was conducted from January 19 to 24.
Pulse Asia revealed that Marcos is the frontrunner in all geographic areas and socio-economic groups with 53 to 66 percent and 50 to 61 percent. The survey was conducted on 2,400 adult Filipinos who are 18 years old and above, with a ± 2% percent margin for national percentages and ± 4% for subnational percentages.
Along with Marcos, his running mate Sara Duterte secured the top race for vice president. She attained 50 percent, four percent higher compared to the previous survey.
Duterte-Carpio garnered 53% in the Visayas, 84% in Mindanao and 49% to 55% in every socio-economic group, which Pulse Asia reiterated is “near to huge majority”.
