Aksyon Demokratiko presidential bet and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso listed Manila 3rd District Councilor Enersto “Jong” Isip Jr. and 6th District Councilor Priscilla Marie T. Abante, as the new addition to his camp.

The two councilors will serve as Moreno’s roster of campaign spokesperson, which aims to cater to the youth voters this coming election. According to Commission on Election (COMELEC), 33% of the voting population this coming election are youth aged 18 to 30.

Raymond Burgos, head of Isko’s campaign communications, reiterated that the two councilors will help to speak on Moreno’s stance about the youth issue, during a press that happened on Monday.

Aside from helping Isko’s camp to encourage youth voters to support his presidential bid, two councilors are both lawyers and experienced in public service.

Isip spearheaded the Manila Public Employment Service Office (PES0), ordinance No. 8166, which implement the employment programs under Republic Act 8759. Third District Councilor served as the principal author of Ordinance No. 8420 that established the Manila Alternative Learning System Program, the Ordinance 8201, resulted to have a district hospital in the third district of Manila.

Meanwhile, Abante served as the councilor in 2013, Commissioner-at-Large of National Youth Commission from September 2005 to December 2009. Currently, she is also the chairperson of the National Movement of Young Legislators-National Capital Region.
