Senatorial aspirant Alan Peter Cayetano requested to make more forums so the Filipinos can identify their preferred candidates for the 2022 national and local elections.

According to Cayetano, it is important for Filipinos to get themselves familiarized with the candidates and their respective platforms for the country. Cayetano also urged Filipinos to look deeply at the candidates’ platforms that they promised instead of looking at them as entertainment.

“I’d really like to have more forums. Cayetano said.

He also added that the candidates who will win this coming election will face a great challenge, especially at the times of the COVID-19 pandemic. The candidates must focus on the country’s problem as being a public servant was never an easy job to begin with, according to Cayetano.

“Grabe ang trabaho next term. Kahit sinong manalo, dahil sa pandemic at dahil sa lahat ng recovery na kailangan, talagang all hands on deck. It’s one of those elections na kahit manalo ka, hindi ganun kadali ang trabaho,” Cayetano stated.

When asked about his presidential candidate, he expressed that he can work with anyone as he was already familiar with the candidates and managed to become a long-term lawmaker.

We need people who will be truly independent and speak out for the people,” Cayetano expressed.
