Presidential candidate Leni Robredo recently promised to be a ‘President for All’, serving all Filipinos regardless of their political stance, which she notes is just as she has done as Vice President for the past six years.
“Ang pangako ko po sa inyo pag ako naging pangulo, walang kulay-kulay na titingnan, magiging pangulo po ako ng lahat,” Robredo declared at her grand rally in Antipolo City on Tuesday, April 5 before a 43,000-strong crowd.
The Pulse Asia survey released today, April 6, approximated Robredo’s voter share at 24 percent during its March 17-21 survey period, an increase of around nine percent compared to the 15 percent she received from the firm’s previous monthly results.
Robredo’s spokesperson, Atty. Barry Gutierrez said these rapidly growing numbers reflect a determined people’s campaign for Robredo .
“The survey numbers are starting to reflect what we have been seeing on the ground all along: the massive crowds, the fierce passion, the untiring commitment of Filipinos from all walks of life, coming together to rally behind Leni Robredo’s bid for the Presidency,” he shared.
“This 13-point swing going into the last two months of the campaign clearly establishes what we have long known: that VP Leni has the momentum, which we expect will only further intensify and accelerate all the way to May 9. What we are seeing now is the turning of the tide,” Gutierrez added.
Robredo celebrated the Filipino people’s contribution to the campaign, remarking that it is because they understand the type of leadership the country deserves.
“Ang eleksyon pong ito, hindi na lang ito tungkol sa aming mga kandidato pero ang eleksyon pong ito, ang pinag-uusapan, anong klase ng pamahalaan ang gusto nating manaig dito sa atin sa susunod na anim na taon,” Robredo said.
In Rizal, Robredo’s Office of the Vice President (OVP) is distinguished for delivering programs and assistance, such as the Vaccine Express, Swab Cab, and Community Learning Hubs at the height of the pandemic. The OVP also supported the province’s sewing communities by tasking them to produce reusable protective suits for frontliners.
