Barangay Pasong Putik of Quezon City will be divided into three independent Barangays, namely Barangay Pasong Putik Proper, Barangay Greater Lagro, and Barangay North Fairview in accordance with Republic Act No. (RA) 11803. The measure to divide Pasong Putik lapsed into law without the signature of President Rodrigo Duterte. 

RA 11803, was passed by the House of Representatives September last year and was amended by the amended the Senate earlier this year. 

As per the Section 285 of RA No. 7160 or the Local Government Code of 1991, the barangays will be entitled to an allotment from the national taxes. 

Under RA 11803, the already existing infrastructures and facilities will continue to be administered by the barangays under Section 1 of the act. 

Meanwhile, the incumbent barangay officials shall continue to hold office until their successors are elected and qualified.
