Being a hands-on leader, La Union Governor Rafy Ortega-David personally visited a recently constructed multi-purpose hall in one of the barangays in her province on Thursday.

The newly built multi-purpose hall is located in Barangay Agpay in Burgos, La Union.

According to Ortega-David’s Facebook post on Friday, the multipurpose hall will be used for meetings and other activities so that the locals have a place to gather.

She said one of her administration’s top priorities is to make it simpler for citizens to reach local and provincial municipal governments. This will be accomplished through various projects, not just in infrastructure.

“These projects are essential para mas mapalakas ang La Union PROBINSYAnihan,” she emphasized.

Last week, Ortega-David graced the inauguration and blessing of the newly improved Bangar-Castro Road held at Brgy. Ubbog, Bangar, La Union.

She personally attended the event to inspect the project to make sure town people and the nearby communities could travel and transport their agricultural produce along the recently finished road with ease and accessibility.

“The lady governor expressed her gratitude to Bangar Mayor Joy Pinzon-Merin and to the people behind the success of the project as she affirmed her commitment to #LaUnionPROBINSYAnihan to support the implementation of more infrastructure development projects in the Province that will spur economic growth and create opportunities to every Kaprobinsiaan – a reliable indicator towards building a #StrongerLaUnion,” the La Union Public Information Office said in a statement.
