Generally fair weather will prevail across the country on Friday, the weather bureau said.
“The ITCZ (intertropical convergence zone) will not cause much rains. We could expect fair weather over Metro Manila and the rest of the country,” weather forecaster Patrick del Mundo of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
He, however, noted that rains are likely in the afternoon or evening.
PAGASA forecasts partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms over the entire archipelago.
The temperature in Tuguegarao will reach up to 34 °C; up to 32 °C in Legazpi, Laoag, Kalayaan Islands; and up to 31 °C in Metro Manila.
Zamboanga’s temperature will reach up to 33 °C; and up to 32 °C in Iloilo and Davao.
The whole country, meanwhile, will also experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas. (PNA)
