Nangako si Gobernador Rafy Ortega-David na gawing mas digital ang mga serbisyo ng Provincial Government of La Union matapos idaos ang GoDigital Pilipinas Kick-off Activity sa probinsya.

“Go Digital, La Union! Go Digital, Pilipinas!” aniya sa social media. 

Sa pamamagitan ng paggamit ng teknolohiya, layunin ni Ortega-David na itaas ang kalidad ng serbisyo publiko. 

“I truly believe in the Vision of the GoDigital Pilipinas of empowering Filipino citizens through technology for a connected and inclusive society,” dagdag ng gobernador. “As a young governor, I commit to streamlining the services of the Provincial Government, as well as digitizing more of our services so that we can serve our Kaprobinsiaan faster and better!”

Sa hindi matatawarang determinasyon, aniya, “La Union will join the GoDigital Pilipinas movement to build a sustainable society, one that will build back better from the pandemic, and one that will accelerate the realization of the Philippine Development Plan.”

Ang GoDigital Pilipinas movement at may bisyon na bigyang kapangyarihan ang mga Pilipino sa pamamagitan ng teknolohiya, para sa isang konektado at inklusibong lipunan. Tutugunan nito ang panawagan ng gobyerno na solusyonan ang digital divide sa pamamagitan ng digital literacy at pagbuo ng isang sustainable digital ecosystem, na titiyak na walang Pilipinong maiiwan sa gitna ng mabilis na global digitalization.
