‘I Will Help Her’ – Salceda Nag-Aalok Ng Tulong Kay Frasco

Hindi hinihiling ni Albay 2nd District Rep. Joey Sarte Salceda na magbitiw sa pwesto si Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia-Frasco, bagkus ay dapat na ituon ang atensyon sa usapin ukol sa mga susunod na hakbang ng kanyang departamento. 

“I asked her to fire the consultant. She did. I asked her to correct mistakes and investigate internally. She did. I asked her to be more inclusive with destinations featured. She did. When we resume session in Congress, we will seek facts. She is open. We can disagree without malice.” 

“I will criticize openly, as needed. That’s my job as a legislator and a representative of my people. But after heated discussions, we must remain focus on solving problems.”

Pahayag pa ni Salceda ay kapag humupa na ang ang kontrobersya sa rebranding ay kailangan pang ayusin ang mga airport, accommodation at accessibility, kaya’t hindi siya makikiisa sa mga gustong pagbitiwin sa pwesto ang Tourism secretary. 

Gusto rin niyang makatrabaho si Frasco sa Bicol International Airport at iba pang mga isyu.

 “I will help her,” dagdag ng mambabatas.

Ayon pa kay Salceda, handa naman ang probinsya ng Albay na tulungan si Frasco at iniaalok niya ang kanyang personal experience bilang gobernador ng Albay. 

Nanawagan din siya na tulungan ang Tourism secretary, “I am asking everyone to help her. I would like to summon the collective intellect, energy, and innovativeness of the brightest minds in advertising and promotions to help the DOT (Department of Tourism).”
