Binatikos ni Davao City Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte ang desisyon ng Marcos administration na sibakin si Secretary Mabel Acosta sa kanyang posisyon bilang Chairperson ng Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA).

“I am deeply dismayed by the unjustifiable termination of Secretary Mabel Acosta from her position as Chairperson of Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA),” aniya. “The lack of transparency of Malacañang and the confusion surrounding her removal is deplorable and deeply concerning.”

“The blatant display of vindictiveness by the current administration is deeply troubling and disheartening,” pagpapatuloy ng mayor. “President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos’s sudden appointment of Mr. Leo Magno to a position that wasn’t vacant raises serious concerns about the transparency of decision-making and the treatment of dedicated public servants like Sec. Acosta.”

“It is crucial to protect the integrity and reputation of MinDA,” aniya. “Let us actively work towards a culture that acknowledges their invaluable contributions, ensuring they receive the respect and support they rightly deserve.”
