GUO GOES TO CITY JAIL! Ex-Mayor Alice, Lipat-Selda Na!

Ililipat si dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo sa Pasig City Jail Female Dormitory base na rin sa pag-uutos ng Pasig Regional Trial Court (RTC).

Sa isang four-page order na inilabas ng Pasig RTC Branch 167, sinabi nito kailangang ilipat si Guo mula Camp Crame patungo sa city jail kaugnay ng kasong qualified trafficking laban sa kanya.

“The Court finds probable cause to hold accused Alice Leal Guo a.k.a ‘Guo Hua Ping…’ for trial for the crime/s charged against them,” saad nito. 

Dagdag pa ng Pasig RTC Branch 167, si Guo at kapwa niya mga akusado ay hindi maaaring makapag-piyansa sapagkat ang kasong kanilang hinaharap ay mga non-bailable offense.

Kinasuhan si Guo at iba pa ng paglabag sa  Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003, as amended by the Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2012 at Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2022.

Kasama ni Guo sa kaso sina Huang Zhiyang at Zhang Rujin na parehong may warrant of arrest. Ayon sa Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission, si Huang Zhiyang ang “boss of all bosses” ng illegal na Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators.

May arrest warrant din sina Lin Baoying, at former Technology and Livelihood Resource Center deputy director general Dennis Cunanan. 

Si Guo ay nahaharap din sa isang kasong graft sa harap ng isang korte sa Valenzuela at isang reklamo ng money laundering sa Department of Justice.

Siya ay iniimbestigahan ng parehong Senado at House of Representatives tungkol sa kanyang alleged connection sa na-raid na POGO hub sa Bamban. Mayroon ding ongoing investigation ukol sa kanyang citizenship.
