TRANSPORTASYON SA BAGONG KAMAY! Vince Dizon, Bagong Kapitan Ng DOTr

Opisyal na! Itinalaga ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. si dating Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) chief Vivencio “Vince” Dizon bilang bagong kalihim ng Department of Transportation (DOTr), ayon sa Malacañang ngayong Huwebes.

Kinumpirma ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin ang pagluklok kay Dizon, na papalit kay DOTr Secretary Jaime Bautista simula Pebrero 21, 2025.

“Vivencio ‘Vince’ Bringas Dizon is going to be the next of the Department of Transportation, effective February 21, 2025,” ayon kay Bersamin sa isang pahayag.

Dagdag pa niya, awtorisado na ng Office of the President si Dizon upang simulan ang paglipat ng liderato sa DOTr, kasabay ng koordinasyon sa grupo ni Bautista na nagbitiw sa puwesto dahil sa kalusugan.

Eksperto Sa Malalaking Proyekto!

Bago ang kanyang bagong posisyon, si Dizon ay isa sa mga utak sa tagumpay ng “Build, Build, Build” infrastructure program noong administrasyong Duterte. Siya rin ang dating presidential adviser para sa flagship projects ng dating pangulo.

Sa kasagsagan ng pandemya, si Dizon ang tumayong Deputy Chief Implementer ng National Action Plan Against Covid-19, Chief Testing Czar, at Chief Coordinator ng Test, Trace, Treat Program.

Matagal Nang Nasa Gobyerno

Bukod sa DOTr at BCDA, naglingkod na rin si Dizon bilang:

  • Consultant ni dating Senate Majority Leader Alan Peter Cayetano (2013-2016)
  • Undersecretary for Political Affairs ng Office of the President (2011-2013)
  • Chief of Staff ni Senador Edgardo Angara (2002-2004)
  • VP for Corporate Communications, Strategic Alliance Holdings Inc. – Technologies (2007-2011)
