The UniTeam of Presidential and Vice Presidential aspirants Bongbong Marcos Jr. and Sara Duterte-Carpio included ten names for their partial senatorial candidates’ lineup in the 2022 national elections.

According to Marcos Jr.’s spokesperson, Atty. Vic Rodriguez, Marcos Jr. and Duterte-Carpio chose their candidates based on their excellence, track record, and their mixture of political personalities.

Reelectionist Senator Sherwin Gatchalian and Juan Miguel Zubiri, former Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro, former Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar, former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, Antique Rep. Loren Legarda, former senator Jinggoy Estrada, Sagip party-list Rep. Rodante Marcoleta, former Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista and lawyer Larry Gadon were included on the list according to Rodriguez.

Atty. Rodriguez said that Senator Zubiri’s inclusion has strengthened their sturdy position in Mindanao which is his family’s traditional bailiwick.

Rodriguez also added that Villar, Gatchalian, Estrada, and Legarda have been consistently on the top lists of the senatorial survey. He mentioned that Marcoleta is the house deputy speaker and has been in the Congress since 2013.

Lately, the suspended lawyer, Larry Gadon, has been the top fan supporter of Marcos Jr. for years and garnered almost the top 12 spot of the senatorial survey.
