The House of Representatives today launched a dedicated website that provides verified information about President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s upcoming State of the Nation Address (SONA).
The substitute bill to House Bill 5970 seeks to extend the national feeding program to undernourished children in secondary schools. It would amend for the purpose Republic Act 11037 or the Masustansyang Pagkain Para Sa Batang Pilipino Act
The HB 9007 or the proposed Non-Combustible Nicotine Delivery Systems Act act seeks to lower the minimum age for the use of e-cigarettes to 18 years old as well as regulate the manufacture and sale of all tobacco systems.
The senate unanimously voted for the passing of Senate Bill 2209 or the Special Protections against Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (Anti-OSAEC) Act during its final reading. The bill seeks to give the law teeth to catch sexual offenders and punish them accordingly.
The bill aims to eliminate the unnecessary costs, inconvenience, and duplicity associated with obtaining the most recent copy of the civil registry document.
If House Bill 9072 would be passed, it aims to improve preventive and curative medicine programs that advance Filipinos' health and well-being and prevent disease, disability, and death.
