The House of Representatives on Tuesday night adopted the Senate version of a bill that would establish and expedite the purchase and administration of COVID-19 vaccines to Filipinos.
The House of Representatives on Monday night approved on third and final reading a bill establishing a vaccine indemnity fund and expediting the purchase of vaccines against the COVID-19.
“I do not want a partial restoration while we already have MGCQ. We need to increase public transport at the same time we shift to MGCQ. Otherwise, we will be making life very difficult and unsafe for many workers,” Salceda suggested.
“Our job as lawmakers is to ensure that the lives uprooted by the pandemic can return to normalcy, and to pass the necessary policies to absorb and cushion the damages to our people. We have to do it swiftly and with the highest degree of urgency,” Cabatbat assured.
“By having fewer branches and ATMs, LandBank’s reach and accessibility to government employees, LGUs, and government aid beneficiaries are severely limited," said Fortun.
