MARINO Party-list first representative Sandro Gonzalez urged the Department of Health to include seafarers in the government’s priority list as soon as the COVID-19 vaccine becomes available in the Philippines.
“January is the window of opportunity to prevent a new wave of COVID-19 infections. The economy simply cannot afford another lockdown, and we cannot afford to risk the lives of health care workers now that we have not yet vaccinated them in mass,” Salceda said.
“Ecosystems are the basis of all business, all livelihood, even health, wellness, and happiness. We ignore it to our peril and after having despoiled it, we need to restore it before we can go back to maintenance mode. Every peso spent is either for destruction or restoration,” says House Deputy Speaker and Antique Representative Loren Legarda.
“Nagpapasalamat tayo na si Pangulong Duterte na mismo ang nag-direkta para magkaroon ng agarang aksyon laban sa child pornography. Nananawagan tayo sa Kongreso na gawin din ang makakaya para matigil na ang pagsasamantala sa ating kabataan,” Nograles said.
“The recovery will enter three stages: short, medium, and long-term. The vaccine is our immediate-term intervention. So we need to get it out fast, before anything else," Salceda urged.
