PRRD has ordered Environment Secretary Cimatu to fly to Cebu City to oversee the measures against the COVID-19 pandemic as cases in the area soared to 4,449 on Monday.
PRRD: “My people here are clean and I still believe in them. But anyway, that’s the situation... I will stake my reputation as President. There are no anomalies taking place."
Roque: “I am sure the President is open to further discussion on the possibility of face-to-face pero uulitin ko po, habang may banta ang Covid sa isang lugar eh out of the question po iyan."
During their “engaging and productive” telephone conversation on Tuesday night, Duterte and Modi acknowledged the need for Manila and New Delhi to be partners in fighting the COVID-19.
