In line with the Pride Month, we take a look at the developments on the legal recognition for Non-binary and other LGBT people who underwent sex change, thus, all government documents must also be changed. Despite the slow progress in the Philippines, it is not entirely impossible since other countries have taken a step forward in providing laws and policies inclusive to all.

The Philippines is recognized worldwide for being gay-friendly. LGBTQ+ representation is evident in the media from our favorite local TV shows to the international spotlight. Yet, where have we come so far in providing a safe haven for the LGBTQ+ community?
