Malacañang expressed confidence on Tuesday that the government is ready to transform the Philippines into a “cashless” society, given that the country is still grappling with the COVID-19 pandemic.
"A shift to digital processes will not only mean faster and more efficient work in our government offices, but more importantly, this will result in better services for our people," Angara said.
Senator Sonny Angara said the country should begin to experience better internet connectivity even in remote and inaccessible areas once the Department of Information and Communications Technology completes the first phase of its National Broadband Program.
