BHW Partylist Representative Angelica Co urged the Department of Health (DOH) and the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) to strengthen the COVID-19 vaccination and to complete the first booster shots for every Filipino in the country.

According to Co, Filipinos should follow the protocol that the DOH has given and also get themselves vaccinated and took a booster shot up to the second dose.

Co also added that the second booster shot should be open to all Filipinos as long as there’s an interval period of three months and below between the first dose and the second dose of the booster shot.

“Buksan na rin dapat sa lahat – sa rest of the population ang eligibility na makakuha ng second booster basta di bababa sa tatlong buwan ang pagitan ng 1st at 2nd booster shots. Para lahat ng kababayan nating willing nang magpa-second booster shot, maproteksyunan na.” Co said.

She also encouraged Congress to solidify and strengthen a more effective vaccination drive.

In addition, college and senior high school students should get full vaccination, especially for those students who will be attending graduation, face-to-face, and enrollment procedures.
