I am writing here to express my utmost admiration and support for your exceptional insights. It is my firm belief that you should be appointed to an Apex unit for the Cabinet cluster as you can navigate with ease from agri to finance.

Your feel for the pulse of the market and the economy and what to do are tops. That is what makes you a great adviser on the economy.

Case in point, I must mention the recent developments surrounding the actions of BSP Gov. Medalla. He will now have to rethink his move as he had mixed signals on the interest rate, days ago he was batting for a pause saying he will not be swayed by the US Fed rise. And then just a day ago, he wanted to hike the rates, given the highest 5 percent hike in the Fed rate. 

In this regard, I firmly believe that your expertise is what the BSP will have to do. Your grasp on the data about wheat prices before the Ukraine and today and the rising bread prices means the flour miller’s as a cartel are raking it in. Perhaps you will have to push for a windfall tax on this.
