Crisologo Isinulong Ang Pag-amyenda Ng Magna Carta For PWDs

Inanunsyo ni Rep. Anthony Crisologo na mas pinalakas ang Magna Carta for Persons with Disability (PWD) matapos na gawing limang taon ang bisa ng PWD cards. 

Idinagdag ni Crisologo na naipasa na ng House Committee on Health ang mga panukalang pagbabago sa Magna Carta for PWDs tulad ng muling pag-aaral sa listahan ng mga benepisyo para sa PWDs. 

Kasama sa pag-repaso sa batas ay ang pagpataw ng parusa sa mga gumagamit ng PWD card kahit na hindi naman kwalipikadong makinabang dito.  

“This Bill seeks for the exact and more rigorous enforcement of the Magna Carta for PWDs to deter individuals who take advantage of the said Act by penalizing any person who is instrumental in the issuance of a PWD Card to an unqualified person and unqualified individuals who falsify documents to avail the benefits of the Act,” sabi ni Crisologo.
