Frontrunner! Rep. Tulfo Nanguna Sa OCTA Senatorial Bets

Lumutang na frontrunner para sa May 2025 elections si ACT-CIS Rep. Erwin Tulfo ayon sa pinakahuling senatorial survey na inilabas ng OCTA Research.

Base sa survey na isinagawa mula Marso 11 hanggang 14, 16 na personalidad ang nagpakita ng statistical chance na manalo ng pwesto sa senado kung gaganapin ang eleksyon sa panahon ng survey. 

Higit sa kalahati ng na-survey o 58 percent ang nagsabi na iboboto nila si Tulfo.

Samantala, si dating Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III at Senator Christopher “Bong” Go ay na nagtabla sa pangalawa at pangatlong puwesto, na may 52 percent at 50 percent ng suporta sa mga botante. Kapansin-pansin, ang kapatid ni Rep. Tulfo at broadcaster na si Ben Tulfo ay nagtapos sa ikaapat hanggang ikalima na may 43 percent.

Itinampok din sa survey ang katayuan ng mga kilalang tao sa pulitika. Pang-apat hanggang ika-anim si dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na may 38 percent overall voting preference, na sinundan ni dating Senador Panfilo “Ping” Lacson sa ikalima hanggang ika-10 puwesto na may 34 percent. Sina Senador Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa at Dating Senador Manny Pacquiao ay nasa sa ika-6 hanggang ika-11 puwesto, bawat isa ay nagtala ng 33 percent at 32 percent.

Kasama sa iba pang contenders sina Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla at Senator Imee Marcos, na nagtabla sa ika-6 hanggang ika-12 na puwesto na may 30 percent at 29 percent. Nakuha ni dating Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso ang 7th hanggang 14th spot na may 27 percent overall voting preference, habang si Senator Pia Cayetano ay sumunod na malapit sa 9th hanggang 16th spot na may 26 percent voting preference.

Sa ibaba ng listahan, nagtabla sina Senator Francis Tolentino at Senator Lito Lapid sa ika-11 hanggang ika-19 na puwesto na may 22 percent. Ang cardiologist at online health personality na si Willie Ong, kasama si Interior and Local Government Secretary Benjamin “Benhur” Abalos Jr., ay nasa ika-12 hanggang ika-19 na puwesto, bawat isa ay tumatanggap ng 21 percent.
