Philippine National Police (PNP) Gen. Debold Sinas uses a weight loss pill that was given a “go signal” from the doctors for the “Oplan Chubby Anonymous” program.

“Oplan Chubby Anonymous” program aims to help 20 volunteer cops in their weight loss journey, according to the PNP Chief on March 3 following the inauguration of the Internal Affairs Service.

“Yes for the last six months 55 pounds na ang bumaba. Hindi ba halata? 306 to 247 ang ideal ko is 215 to 220 with my height,” Sinas said to the media on Wednesday.

Sinas did not divulge the brand of the pills that was permitted, but he mentioned that they will observe if the pill is effective to decide if they will continue using it. This initiative is part of the physical fitness policy of the officers to fulfill their duties effectively.

On his weight loss journey for the past six months, Sinas shared that he lost 55 pounds after his weight was reduced from 306lbs to 247lbs. He hopes that his weight loss program will encourage the PNP staff to be more physically fit and encourage them to continue doing their workouts.,

Several months ago, the NCRPO (National Capital Region Police Office) fitness team introduced a 4-minute workout routine that the PNP personnel can perform even while sitting. The routine caught the public’s attention because of the music accompaniment Voltes V which is also the “favorite anime” of the PNP Chief.

The workout routine is available in the NCRPO’s YouTube channel called NCRPO Fitness Team. Each workout routine posted is composed of short routines which can be done by beginners.
