“I express my grave disappointment on various instances where visitors and locals were recklessly leaving their trash along the beach and bothering sea turtles while it was attempting to nest,” idiniin nya sa isang pahayag sa social media.
“Thus, I share again my request and plea to all of you … Alam kong itong mga event na ito ay makakatulong sa pagbangon ng ating ekonomiya, but it should never be at the expense of our environment and natural resources!” aniya.
“The Provincial Tourism and Environment Offices are doing their best to handle the situation, and we ask for your utmost cooperation and due diligence,” dagdag niya.
“I call on everyone to be part of La Union PROBINSYAnihan! We cannot move forward if we are not united…and that also includes being united in taking responsibility for our environment.
Agyamanak, Stay Safe, GOD bless all of you, and GOD bless our fair La Union!” pagtatapos niya.
