Malacañang Names New Adviser On Investment, Economic Affairs

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has named Robinsons Land Corporation president and chief executive officer Frederick Go as his adviser on investment and economic affairs, Malacañang announced on Friday.

Presidential Communications Office Secretary Cheloy Garafil confirmed Go’s appointment.

“Robinsons Land President and Chief Executive Officer Frederick Go has been appointed as Presidential Adviser on Investment and Economic Affairs. Rafael Consing Jr. will assist Secretary Go in his office,” Garafil said in a statement.

Consing is the chief financial officer and compliance officer of the International Container Terminal Services Incorporated.

Malacañang has yet to release the appointment papers of Go and Consing.

Among others, Go also served as director of Cebu Air Inc., Manila Electric Company, JG Summit Petrochemical Corporation, JG Summit Olefins Corporation and Cebu Light Industrial Park.

He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree, major in Management Engineering, from the Ateneo de Manila University.

Consing worked with Multinational Investment Bancorp, HSBC and other financial firms.

He graduated from De La Salle University with a degree in Political Science and attended the Emerging CFO (Chief Financial Officer) Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. (PNA)
