On Monday, February 28, Atty. Vic Rodriguez, the spokesperson of Ferdinand Marcos Jr., stated that the messaging of UniTeam “truly works” after presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos dominated the latest OCTA Research Tugon ng Masa survey.
“Certainly, there is no substitute to showing up in person, in flesh and blood, just to be in the company of millions of individuals one wishes to serve,” Rodriguez stated.
Atty. Vic believed that the whole world is monitoring the event on Philippine politics, and mentioned the Overseas and Filipino Workers (OFW) and world leaders received the information accurately, citing OCTA Research as credible survey outfits.
Spokesperson stated, “We enjoin the Commission on Election (COMELEC) in ensuring the conduct of free, orderly, honest and credible elections – the very essence of Philippine democracy.”
The OCTA survey showed Bongbong Marcos obtained 55% preference votes, which composed of 46% in Metro Manila, 56% in Balance Luzon, 47% in the Visayas, and 65% in Mindanao. The survey was conducted from February 12 to 17 participated by a total of 1,200 individuals with the question, “If the election will be held today, who will you likely vote for as president?
OCTA survey listed Vice President Leni Robredo in the second spot with 15%, followed by Manila Mayor “Isko” Moreno Domagoso with 11%; Senator Manny Pacquaio wirh 10%; and Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson with 3%.
In the vice-presidential race, Sara Duterte, running mate of Marcos, topped the survey with 43%, followed by Senate President Vicente Sotto III with 33%; Senator Francis Pangilinan with 10%; Dr. Willlie Ong with 7%; and Buhay party-list Representative Lito Atienza with 1%.
