May Pondo! PBBM: P175M Nakahanda Na Sa Paghagupit Ng Bagyong ‘Egay’

Tiniyak ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na may nakahanda nang mahigit P173 milyon na stand-by funds at ilang pang kakailanganin para sa maaaring maging pinsala ng paghagupit ng Super Typhoon “Egay.”

Ipinahayag niya sa social media na tuloy-tuloy ang pagkilos upang maaksyunan ang maaaring pinsalang dulot ng bagyo.

“Tinitiyak din natin ang maayos na kalagayan ng 38,991 na mga pamilyang apektado sa Region I, II, III, CALABARZON MIMAROPA, VI, VII, at XII,” saad ni Marcos.

Bukod pa sa pondo, mayroon ding nakahandang food at non-food items, at nakadeploy na rin ang mga rescue teams mula sa Armed Forces of the Philippines, Bureau of Fire Protection, at Philippine Coast Guard.

“Naibalik na rin ang kuryente sa 93.53 [porsiyento] ng mga apektadong munisipalidad,” dagdag ng Pangulo. 

Ayon sa Coast Guard, kasalukuyan pa ring stranded ang libo-libong mga pasahero, driver at cargo helpers sa mga Port kasabay ng pagkansela ng sea travels bunsod ng bagyo.

Base naman sa bulletin ng Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration, nakataas na ang Tropical Cycolne Wind Signals (TCWS) sa ilang parte ng Luzon, itinaas na rin sa  TCWS No. 4 ang hilagang bahagi ng Cagayan Province.

Kasalukuyang gumagalaw patungong southwestward ang bagyo at inaasahang mananatili sa loob ng Philippine Area of Responsibility hanggang Huwebes, July 27.
