Manila Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso on Tuesday ordered the investigation on the alleged unauthorized coronavirus disease (Covid-19) vaccination in Binondo.

Domagoso issued a memorandum directing the Manila Police District (MPD), Manila Health Department (MHD), and the Manila Bureau of Permits to immediately look into a radio report about the alleged Covid-19 vaccination.

“You are all directed to investigate and look into the veracity of this news report and submit your findings thereon within 48 hours from receipt,” the memorandum read.

Domagoso said he has not authorized anyone to do any Covid-19 vaccination.

He also said he has not received information about any national government agency that is conducting Covid-19 vaccination.

“This unauthorized vaccination poses a great danger to the well-being and health of the people,” he said.

Domagoso said if proven true, criminal and other charges will be filed against those responsible for the unauthorized vaccination.

The national government has yet to approve a vaccine against Covid-19. (PNA)
