Senior Citizen Party-list Representative Rodolfo “Ompong” Ordanes expressed his concern regarding the rising COVID-19 positivity rate.

According to the Department of Health (DOH), the total number of completed doses as of January 3, 2022, is nearing 50 million.

However, Ordanes expressed his urge for vaccination drives to be rolled out everywhere, especially in the Odette-devastated LGUs to avert any new surge in COVID cases, amongst vulnerable seniors, PWDs, A3, and children.

“The steady and clear increases in the national and localized positivity rates are a great cause for concern, LGUs must be quick to quell any new outbreaks in their cities, towns, and provinces using the special lockdowns before people return to work after the holidays,” he expressed.

Regular vaccines for children have yet to get COVID jabs. COVID vax for the unvaccinated and those yet to receive their second doses and boosters.
