Partido Demokratikong Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) faction led by Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi is now considering to initiate a joint rallies with the UniTeam alliance of presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and his running mate, Davao City Mayor Sara Z. Duterte last April 22.

According to PDP-Laban Secretary General Melvin Matibag, there’s a possibility that President Rodrigo Duterte might joined the rally.

“Nag meeting sila…ah kasama ko si Secretary Cusi as president of the party na magkakaroon ng mga rally ang PDP-Laban kung sakaling imbitado na si BBM (Bongbong Marcos) at si Mayor Inday Sara”. Matibag said in an interview after attending the UniTeam grand rally at the Biñan Football Stadium in Biñan, Laguna.

Matibag also said that the UniTeam-PDP-Laban rallies would be organized in Bulacan, Parañaque, and Nueva Ecija.

“We’re planning a big rally in Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, and in Parañaque na ang mag-i-sponsor PDP-Laban, invited ang UniTeam.” He said.

On the UniTeam-PDP-Laban partnership, Matibag said the two are on good terms.

“Oo maganda ‘yung pag uusap namin. Ang UniTeam at PDP-Laban maganda ang pag-uusap, may mga plano talaga.” Matibag said.

PDP-Laban endorsed Marcos as their candidate for the presidency and Duterte as the vice president.

Meanwhile, President Duterte already emphasized that he will not support any presidential candidates but already endorsed her daughter, Sarah Duterte-Carpio, for the vice presidential race.
