Pondo Para Sa Pagtatayo Ng Mga Specialty Center Sa Mga DOH Hospitals Aprubado

Aprubado sa House Committee on Appropriations na pinangunahan ni AKO BICOL Party-list Representative Elizaldy Co ang pondo ng mga unnumbered substitute bill na nais magtayo ng mga specialty center sa mga ospital sa ilalim ng Department of Health (DOH), ayon sa pahayag ng House of Representatives.

Sa ilalim ng panukala, ang budget na kinakailangan sa initial na operasyon ng specialty center para sa cancer care, cardiovascular care, renal care, physical therapy, neonatal care at iba pa ay manggagaling sa 2023 appropriation ng Health department .

Ayon kay Committee on Health Chairman at Batanes Rep. Ciriaco Gato Jr., ang panukala ay makakatulong sa gobyerno na tugunan ang mandato nito na magbigay ng universal health care para sa mga Pilipino. 

Kasama rin sa aprubadong funding provisions ng unnumbered substitute bill ang House Joint Resolution 11 and HB 5229 para sa restructuring ng Philippine National Police (PNP), HBs 3121, 3783, and 5245 na magtatayo ng disaster food bank at stockpile sa mga probinsya, HB 3136, 3303, 4496, and 5677 para sa integrated coastal management bilang estratehiya sa holistic at sustainable management ng coastal ecosystems, HBs 1651 and 4465 para sa pagpreserba ng indigenous games ng bansa, at HBs 3721, 3847, at 4240 para sa pagtatayo ng academic recovery at accessible learning program. 

Pinangunahan ni Senior Vice Chairperson ng Committee on Appropriations at 2nd District Marikina City Rep. Stella Luz Quimbo ang pagpupulong.
