“In light of the ongoing provocations, I emphatically call for the urgent recall of the Philippine Ambassador to China. Francis Tolentino.

Ayon naman kay Sen. Juan Miguel Zubiri: “This time, China not only caused us great damage to property but they also put Filipino lives at risk. They have gone from unlawfully blocking us from navigating our own waters to now deliberately damaging our vessels and endangering the lives of our people.”

Idiniin naman ni Sen. Joel Villanueva na habang ang Pilipinas ay nahaharap sa isang higante sa WPS, dapat itong manindigan laban sa anumang paglabag sa mga international law: “Might does not give China the right to fire water cannons on our vessels, make dangerous maniobra o harangin ang mga humanitarian mission.”

“With China’s bullying rearing its ugly head anew with the water cannon firing, we must be consistently resolute in defending our territory. The intentional attack is a violation of international law,” pagdidiin naman ni Sen. Grace Poe.

The Philippines has consistently advocated for peaceful and diplomatic solutions to disputes, and we call on all parties involved to engage in meaningful dialogue.”

Kinondena din ni dating Sen. Manny Pacquiao ang ginawa ng China, at sinabing, “The Philippines will not stand down to China’s bullying. We are a nation of courageous people, and we will stand up for what is right and what is ours.”
