Sorry Na! Cebu Pacific Nag-Apologize Kay Benitez Dahil Sa Flight Delay

Humingi ng paumanhin ang Cebu Pacific kay Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez para sa pagkaantala ng kanyang flight mula Maynila pauwi ng Bacolod noong Hulyo 26, 2023. 

Tinugunan ng Cebu Pacific ang reklamo sa isang liham kay Benitez, na ibinahagi naman ng mayor sa publiko sa pamamagitan ng kanyang social media page. Ayon kay Lei Apostol, ang vice president ng airline para sa customer service operations, at Michael Shau, chief corporate affairs officer, ang pagkaantala dahil sa masamang kondisyon ng panahon, na nakakaapekto sa mga flight operations ng airline.

“Prolonged rain showers were caused by the southwest monsoon and impacted ramp handling across Manila, and across the network, causing delays and consequential effects on our flights, and the On-Time Performance to suffer,” paliwanag ni  Apostol at Shau.

“While there were announcements at 8:16 p.m. and another at 8:37 p.m., to inform passengers of the delay, we note that the announcements should be improved, and we will work on this together with our ground handler,” dagdag nila.

Matatandaang nagpahayag ng kanyang pagkadismaya si Benitez sa pag-handle ng airline sa sitwasyon.

“Disappointed at the handling of our #cebupacific flight that was delayed for several hours (normal occurence). Poor information dissemination, uncooperative staff, airport monitors showed different departure times and gate assignments changed several times,” pahayag ng mayor sa kanyang social media page.

Binigyang-diin niya na dapat unahin ng mga airline ang kapakanan at kaginhawahan ng kanilang mga customer, lalo na sa mga hindi inaasahang pangyayari tulad ng pagkaantala ng flight.

“People left hanging is the worst,” dagdag ni Benitez.
