Mariing pinasinungalingan ni House Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez ang mga paratang ni Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy tungkol sa diumano’y assassination plot ng gobyerno laban sa kanya.

“I have taken note of the recent statements made by Pastor Quiboloy. While I understand the gravity of the accusations he faces on the international stage, specifically from the FBI, it is important to clarify that the Philippine government and its officials, including myself and President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., operate within the bounds of our constitution and laws. We are committed to upholding the rule of law and ensuring the safety and security of all individuals, without exception,” pahayag niya.

Pinabulaanan din ni Romualdez ang mga paratang ni Quiboloy na sangkot ang gobyerno sa mga ilegal na gawain kasama ang mga foreign entity.

“The claims … are unfounded and divert attention from the serious legal matters at hand. Our focus remains on serving the Filipino people and fostering relationships that benefit our nation …,” aniya.

Sa kabila ng mga paratang, hinikayat ni Romualdez si Quiboloy na harapin ang kanyang mga kaso at dumaan sa tamang proseso

“We encourage Pastor Quiboloy to address his legal challenges through the proper legal channels and respect the legal processes in place,” dagdag pa niya.

Inihayag din ni Romualdez ang kanyang tapang at tiwala sa justice system ng bansa.

“As public servants, we are dedicated to transparency, integrity, and the welfare of our country. We remain steadfast in our duties and responsibilities to the Filipino people and will not be swayed by baseless accusations,” deklara niya.

Hinihikayat din ni Romualdez ang publiko na maging maingat sa pagtanggap ng impormasyon at magtiwala sa mga proseso na nagtataguyod ng hustisya at demokrasya sa bansa.
