Senatorial aspirant and lawyer Larry Gadon has been suspended immediately by the Supreme Court over the verbal-assault video against journalist Raissa Robles.
According to the tribunal, the en banc gave Gadon a preventive suspension and ordered him to explain within 10 days why he should not be disbarred. The said suspension was already in effect immediately and will last until the court lifted it.
On December 15, Gadon posted a video verbally assaulting Robles over the tax evasion case of presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. Robles has been labeling Marcos Jr as a ‘tax-evader’.
Gadon’s behavior, according to the Supreme Court, shows the same behavior in his previous statements that are subject to the disbarment complaints before the SC and Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
The Office of the Bar Confidant was ordered to submit a list of the pending administrative charges and complaints against Atty. Gadon.
Last 2019, Gadon was also suspended because of the disbarment case against him.
