Suportado ni Manila Rep. Bienvenido Abante Jr. ang imbestigasyon ng Senado sa war on drugs ng administrasyong Duterte dahil makakatulong umano ito sa kasalukuyang House Quad Committee investigation. 

Matatandaang inanunsyo ni Senador Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa  na iimbitahan ng Senado si dating pangulong Rodrigo Duterte bilang resource person para sa kanilang pagdinig.

Dagdag ni Abante, nasa dating pangulo kung dadalo ito sa alinmang pagdinig—sa Senado o sa Kamara. 

Sa walong public hearings ng quadcomm, maraming ulit nang naungkat ang pangalan ni Duterte kaugnay sa mga extrajudicial killings (EJKs) sa war on drugs.

Isiniwalat ni Royina Garma, dating police colonel at Philippine Charity Sweepstake Office general manager, ang umano’y reward system para sa pagpatay ng drug suspects. Itinuro rin niya si Edilberto Leonardo, dating national police commissioner at Criminal Investigation and Detection Group chief sa Davao Region, bilang isa sa mga nagpatupad ng naturang sistema.
