The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Saturday announced that voters’ registration in Antipolo City, Rizal province will resume on Monday (March 23).
In a statement on Saturday, Comelec spokesperson John Rex Laudiangco said the resumption of registration will run until May 18.
Applicants may visit the local poll body office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Saturday, including holidays.
Aside from new registrants or first-time voters, the Comelec will also accept applications for transfer of records within the same locality or from another locality.
It will also accept applications for reactivation, inclusion/reinstatement, correction of entries/change of status, transfer from Foreign Service Post to local, and updating of records for senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
He also reminded the public to bring one valid-government-issued ID.
Poll officers will not accept cedula (community tax certificate), barangay ID or certificate, company ID, and police clearance.
Voters’ registration in Antipolo City was temporarily suspended after the Second District conducted a special election on March 14.
