Mariing itinanggi at itinama ng mga empleyado ng Maguindanao del Norte ang kamakailang pahayag ni Basilan Rep. Mujiv Hataman na umabot na sa apat na buwan ang pagkaantala ng mga sweldo nila.
Sa isang pahayag, sinabi ng tagapagsalita ng Provincial Employees Association of Maguindanao del Norte, “Speaking on behalf of the Provincial Employees Association of Maguindanao del Norte, our officials, board of directors, and all our members, we want to address our fellow citizens in the province regarding Congressman Mujiv Hataman’s recent statement in Congress.”
Sa kanyang kamakailang pahayag sa Kamara, binanggit ni Hataman na apat na buwan nang walang natatanggap na sahod ang mga empleyado sa lalawigan, ngunit nilinaw ng asosasyon na ang pagkaantala ay para lamang sa buwan ng Agosto 2023. Ang sitwasyon na ito ay dulot ng pagkabigo ng designated treasurer ng Maguindanao del Norte, na appointed ng Bureau of Local Government Finance Region 12, na magsumite ng ulat sa Provincial Treasurer’s Office.
“As employees of Maguindanao del Norte, we have not voiced complaints against Governor Abdulrauf A. Macacua for the delay because we understand the circumstances behind it,” dagdag pa grupo.
Hinimok din ng asosasyon ang lahat ng mga sangkot sa isyu ng Maguindanao del Norte na huwag gamitin ang sitwasyon para sa personal gain o political motives.
“The core concern is the delay in receiving our salary and mandates of the different offices due to the Treasurer’s absence from work.”
Nagmungkahi rin sila na huwag gamitin ang mga empleyado ng Maguindanao del Norte at ang kanilang kalagayan para sa anumang political ambition o agenda.
“Our primary focus is on resolving this crisis and ensuring the welfare of our families, covering basic needs, tuition fees, utility bills, and financial commitment to GSIS (Government Service Insurance System and Pag-IBIG (Home Development Mutual Fund).”
