WALANG SASANTUHIN! Task Force Hahabulin ‘Big Fish’ Sa War On Drugs

Sinabi ni Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla na bumuo siya ng task force upang muling silipin ang mga kaso ng extra-judicial killings (EJKs) kaugnay ng war on drugs noong administrasyong Duterte. 

Ayon kay Remulla, nilagdaan niya ang Department Order (DO) 778 noong Nobyembre 4 upang opisyal na magtatag ng Task Force sa ilalim ng Office of the Secretary of Justice Prosecution Staff (OSJPS), na pinamumunuan ng isang senior assistant state prosecutor kasama ang isang regional prosecutor at siyam na miyembro mula sa National Prosecution Service (NPS). 

Ang task force ay inatasang magsumite ng ulat kay Remulla sa loob ng 60 araw mula sa pagkakalabas ng DO 778. Kasama sa nasabing report ang pagsampa ng mga kaukulang kaso laban sa mga taong responsable sa mga kaso ng EJKs.

Inutusan din ito na makipag-ugnayan sa imbestigasyon ng House Quad Committee at Senate Blue Ribbon Committee hinggil sa drug war upang magkaroon ng komprehensibong pagtutulungan.

“Spare no one, hold accountable every personality who had a hand in the senseless killing perpetrated by abusive persons in authority during the past admin’s anti-illegal drug campaign,” ani Remulla.
