Mayor of Manila “Isko” Moreno Domagoso led today the groundbreaking ceremony for the redevelopment and construction of the new 10-storey Manila Science High School.
“We are making an opportunity out of our adversity; our schools are not being used. Then let’s utilize the time to make the tide in our faith by developing,” Moreno stressed that the city of Manila is investing for the future of the students by constructing public schools in the area.
“May awa and Diyos, na maging pamantayan din ito sa pagtatayo ng eskwelahan sa buong Maynila. Maaari naman natin itong ishare kung kanino man na may gustong magtatag ng eskwelahan na maayos, maaliwalas, at may sapat na espasyo para sa ating mga mag-aaral,” sabi ni Moreno.
The pandemic may have cost huge challenges for the education sector but the City of Manila did not stop its programs to strengthen education for its children.
