Malacañang extended its congratulatory remarks to the new batch of doctors, including Tricia Robredo.

Tricia is part of the 3,538 passers Physician Licensure’s Examinations (PLE) this year. She finished a dual degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master in Business Administration (MBA) at the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health.

“Congratulations to the new doctors and congratulations to their proud parents,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said. “Congratulations po sa anak ni VP Robredo.”

He continued that he wishes that his children would venture into the field of medicine as well.

“Sana ang mga anak ko rin ay mag-graduate din at maging doktor din,” he added. “Sa panahon ng pandemya, talagang kayo po ang mga bagong bayani.”

“Inaasahan po natin na dadagsa po ang magbibigay ng tulong-medikal sa ating bayan habang wala pa pong solusyon sa pandemya.”

Roque previously accused Tricia and Aika Robredo of triggering the #NasaanAngPangulo trend during the Typhoon Ulysses.
